SPARKIQ ("the App") is a NEC 2020 electrical calculator and reference tool for licensed electricians and electrical professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. By using SPARKIQ you agree to the practices described here.
Device identifier. When you first open the App, a random unique ID is generated and stored locally on your device. This ID is used to track your free trial period and link your subscription to your device. It is not tied to your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information unless you subscribe.
Email address. If you choose to subscribe, you provide an email address during checkout. This email is used to process your subscription, send payment receipts, and allow you to restore access on other devices.
Push notification token. If you grant notification permission, your device's push token is stored on our servers so we can send you optional product updates and reminders. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
Usage data. We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking. We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs.
Stripe. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, your payment card details are collected and stored exclusively by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Netlify. The App's backend and data (subscription records, device IDs, push tokens) are hosted on Netlify's infrastructure. Netlify's privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third parties for marketing purposes.
Subscription and device records are retained while your subscription is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation, after which they are deleted. Push notification tokens are deleted when you unsubscribe from notifications or cancel your subscription.
SPARKIQ is a professional tool intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will delete your device record, subscription data, and push token within 14 business days.
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Subscription data is stored on Netlify's servers with access controlled by API tokens. No payment data is stored on our servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
